The Illawarra Aboriginal Medical Service (IAMS) strive to improve the health and wellbeing of Illawarra Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in our community.
Our qualified and experienced Doctors, Nurses, Dentists and Aboriginal Health Practitioners & Workers provide a range of health care services for our mob.
We are committed to working closely with local Indigenous communities to better understand their unique needs and challenges, and to develop targeted programs and services that are culturally appropriate and effective.
By promoting health and wellness, the Illawarra Aboriginal Medical Service hope to empower individuals and families to lead happy, fulfilling lives and contribute to the strength and vitality of our community as a whole.

The IAMS are committed to providing high quality and comprehensive primary health care that meets personal, community and cultural needs. We are proud to have achieved accreditation in AGPAL General Practice, QIP Dental Practice, and QIC Health and Community Services Standards as part of the QIP.
